I see this guy and I think he must be the King of the Aulin, a race of upright standing feudal wolf-like people from the other side of the galaxy in my story: Cruel Twist of Fate.

I have a page on Facebook that I am using to market my book. Would you mind terribly if I included the subject of this image in my "Alien Races" gallery? I really do think he is The King. He stands 17 feet tall and is very brave, so he would not likely use a helmet. I'm not asking to use him as cover art - just as a visual reference for potential readers. Would you also mind if I were to photoshop him in front of a futuristic castle? I always credit the artists unless I am specifically told not to do so.

Does your subject have a name? I have not yet named the Aulin King. If you let me use the image, I would be happy to honour your work by naming the king after your lycan warrior here :)

Let me know.

I wouldn't be sure of that as it is a render from a game that I have used.

[the Aulin are a race of black werewolf-like people, from the other side of the galaxy. I think I mentioned that before. I might not be able to use the render, due to copyright issues, but I can write up a storm about it, leaving nothing to the imagination of a potential movie director... Let me know what you think]:

Suddenly, a sound, like thunder, shook the halls of the palace, as the colossal doors of the courtroom swung wide. The music stopped, the slaves fell to their knees, and the Antrobus, himself, genuflected, resting his left elbow on his left knee, his bowed forehead upon his clenched, left fist.

There, in the doorway, stood a fierce, 18-foot-tall, Aulin noble, clad in the most glorious battle armour, Adam thought he would ever see. “What in all the galaxy is going on out here!? What is all this insolence?”

Adam had inferred the height of the noble, at the door, by his own height. Adam's six feet barely came up the fearsomely elegant monster's knees.

His armour was mostly black, with thick gold trim. Three demonic-looking spikes rose from each shoulder, enshrining his grotesque, angry, lupine face. His fangs dropped at least a full handbreadth from his frothing mouth, filled with rage. Set within the gold trim, near the parts of his armour, which likely hid his shoulders, were two large, square, glowing sapphires, each as big as Adam’s own head. In the centre of the noble’s breastplate was another sapphire, almost as large, but of an oval shape. The armour extended down his arms and legs. On his thighs, the armour had spikes, like those on his shoulders, angled upwards. The knees had two triangular sapphires, identical in size to those on his shoulders. His feet were bare, showcasing his massive claws, each of which was as big as one of Adam’s feet. Attached near the elbows, to the tops of his gauntlets, made of black steel, covered in gold, were two enormous, double-bladed swords, extending, in length, from his ankles to a foot above the spikes on his shoulders. The blades were glowing, with the plasma of some sort of blue St. Elmo’s fire. He looked positively deadly.

Words cant describe how beautiful this image is. Everything just goes together so perfectly. The lighting and colours are vivid and bright, especially around the flames which really makes the image pop.

amazing, this is your best artwork by far! Also I have been in photography for a while now and we have been learning about composition, I was thinking of maybe you adding a little bit more around the feet. They seem to be cut off a bit I think just adding tips to the claws will finish this piece nicely
